Casting Out The Evil: HELP FOR ADDICTION

This particular post is addressing the sickness that so many people have to deal with on a daily basis: ADDICTION

I guess I will start out bluntly. METH is the root of all evil in my eyes. Money only becomes evil when you let it, but METH is truly the devil, Satan himself.  At least money reminds us in words printed on it, "IN GOD WE TRUST."  Meth, however, does not. It just keeps disguising itself to those who are weak to it.

Let me also stress, I do not judge anyone, I do not look down upon them for being sick.  Do I get angry, sometimes, but I look to the Lord to help me deal with that.  I just want their pain to stop. I want our pains to stop.
I only feel heartache. It is not up to us to make or lay judgement. Lord knows, I have made my mistakes as well. I have been weak. And then, I walked away from the evil.
In writing this blog, I only look to reach out. I want all to know that the sickness of addiction isn't only hurting those with the addiction. It hurts all that loves the person with the addiction. It affects everyone and everything in it's path. Please, If you are sick with addiction, seek help.

I pray tonight, for all of those with an addiction, a sickness such as this one, that the Lord wrap his arms around them, and show them His way. It is such a beautiful path, the way of the Lord.  I pray, tonight, Lord, that you lift up  Your children, our sisters, fathers, mothers, brothers, lovers, saints, and sinners alike to Your Glory! Be with us all tonight to cast out the evil, and let in Your will, and Your will alone. In Jesus Name, Amen.

"The Lord is close to the broken-hearted, and saves those who are crushed in Spirit." ~Psalm 34:18

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will." ~ Romans 12:2

  2. thank you, Jamie. I have since talked to my mother on the phone...I trust things are going better for her. Her outlook on life is so much different (better) than it was before. She explained to me more of what she was going through. I love her dearly, and I fear what addiction can do to people. As it so rightfully should be feared.
